This very sour fruit is known as an adaptogenic all-star used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Schisandra berry is also known as Wu Wei Zi in TCM, which translates as “five flavor berry”. This fruit grows on a hearty deciduous climbing shrub, and is also recognized for its benefits in Siberia.
